Lebrón & Augsburger claim P2 Brussels crown

Juan Lebrón and Leo Augsburger were crowned champions of the P2 Brussels, the sixth tournament of the Premier Padel season. In their eighth outing as a pair and second final together, they defeated world No.1s Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello 2-6, 6-3, 6-3.To reach the decider, the duo coached by Agustín Gómez Silingo navigated a tough draw without dropping a single set until the final. Seeded fourth, they dispatched Collado-Hernández (6-2, 7-6), Alonso-Goñi (7-5, 6-4), and made a statement in the semis by beating second seeds Galán and Chingotto 6-4, 6-4.In the final, after dropping the opening set, the pair turned the match around. "Even though the first set was 2-6, we'd been playing great padel and I told the team to believe we could win it," said Lebrón. The Spaniard lifts his first title in over a year.On the partnership's growth, Lebrón praised his teammate: "The most important thing is to stay grounded. Leo is growing enormously as a player, but the key is all the people around us. I've got a phenomenal partner by my side."The tour heads to South America next with the P2 Asunción and the highly anticipated P1 Buenos Aires.
